The inspiration behind these abstract paintings is to create something outstanding and use corrugated cardboard as a medium in a unique way. The flutes or ridges of corrugated cardboard create the ripple effect.
The process involves drawing the sketches of the conceived artwork on paper and then transferring the drawing onto corrugated cardboard. The cardboard is then cut in abstract shapes which are hand painted with acrylic paints. Each painting has between 50 to 150 such pieces. The pieces are then pasted on a ply-board to complete the artwork.
